Roma Cruise Terminal
The Port of Civitavecchia, the main cruise port serving Rome and Lazio, features five modern cruise terminals located at piers 10, 11, 12, 12 bis, 13, 13 bis, and 25. All terminals are managed by Roma Cruise Terminal (RCT), the official concessionaire of cruise services.
Among these, two facilities stand out for size, design, and services:
- the Amerigo Vespucci Cruise Terminal, opened in 2018
- the Donato Bramante Cruise Terminal, inaugurated in December 2025
Together, they reinforce Civitavecchia’s position as one of the leading cruise hubs in the Mediterranean.
location
Most cruise ship piers — 10, 11, 12, 12 bis, 13, and 13 bis — are located along the Cristoforo Colombo antemurale, the main cruise dock area of the port.

This layout allows for efficient passenger flow and easy access to all cruise facilities.
