To get from Civitavecchia station to the cruise terminal, the most convenient solution is to take the special Portlink shuttle (red and green) which connects the station directly to the port for 6€, or, if you prefer to walk, you can reach the pedestrian entrance to the port (Varco Fortezza) on foot in about 15-20 minutes
PortLink shuttles operate this service using red and green buses with continuous hours from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. PortLink drivers access the bus directly under the ship’s board.
Option 1: Portlink Shuttle (Recommended)
What: Red and green special bus.
Where: It starts from the square in front of the train station.
Costs: 6€ one way (ticket can be purchased on board, even with ATM).
Schedules: Operates only on ship arrival/departure days, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, with departures every 20 minutes.
Duration: About 15 minutes.
Where it arrives: Stop directly at the docks (10, 11, 12, 13, 25).
Option 2: On foot
Route: From the station, head towards Viale Garibaldi and follow the sea for about 600 meters to the Varco Fortezza, the pedestrian entrance to the port.

You can buy by credit card the €6 one-way (or €12 roundtrip) bus ticket directly on board the bus, at Largo della Pace reception, or bundled with Trenitalia tickets online/at stations for €12 single/€19 return (kids 4-12 pay €2/€4 bus fare).
If you’re using the Civitavecchia Express, the Portlink bus is often included/free with your Express ticket, just show it to the driver.
